Presented by: Bob and Cheryl. A photo of Caleb MacArthur's grave site was shared. It was covered in superhero figures. Caleb passed away at the age of 3 years old in 2015 from cancer. Caleb's Courage was a charity of Ribfest. March 24 was Superhero Day in the CBRM recognizing the importance of raising public awareness of childhood cancer. Caleb's Courage endowment fund helps "little superheros fighting big battles".

Bob reported that he sent along to the chair people for the upcoming Rotaract conference the contact information for the CBU Rotaract Club.
Darren had sent by email earlier in the week a photo of Riverview Interact Club members who had cleaned up the area around the County Arena and the school. Every two weeks the Interact club will do a clean-up in the area. Bob noted that here is a need for supervision by the school, so the clean-ups will be done on school days, so maybe the Interact Club won't be able to participate in our spring clean-up scheduled for a Saturday.

New Business
Please share the Rafflebox fundraiser by social media or other means. It is suggested that Rotarians could support Rafflebox in place of paying $5 per week for our 50/50 draw which we can't do while meeting by Zoom. Following Cheryl's suggestion, Darren will put a Rafflebox reminder in the weekly email with the Zoom link.
We still need volunteers to help with Brandon's upcoming vaccination clinics.

The Cape Breton Welcome Network supports Island communities in welcoming newcomers. The Network of local volunteer-led community groups will help to make every newcomer feel connected in their new home. Communities are healthier, happier and more productive when newcomers are supported, welcomed and can fully participate in society and the local economy. Funding is from the NS Office of Immigration.
