Adventures in Citizenship- The application is all good to go. Aaron White, advisor for Loaves and Fishes will be speaking to the Riverview Interact club to let them know the work available that requires volunteers.
Eskasoni Interact club- Laurianne asked the club to have ticket money in before Christmas. They adopted a family for Christmas, contribute to the "lunch cupboard" at their school for those students needing lunch. The group continues to help during wakes in the community as wakes are held in the homes. Students serve tea/food and clean. This is a tradition in the Mi'kmaw communities.
50/50- Bob and Joe won the jackpot of $962. Congratulations to both!
Tax Receipts- If anyone is looking to get a tax receipt for this year, the deadline is on Friday, December 21. Please remember to make donation to Sydney Rotary.
100th Year- Laurianne and Frank would like to invite members to join the committee as we have about 500 days before our anniversary. Louisa Horne has sent a request to have the RI president join us. We will know more in the New Year. We would like to involve club members in research at the Beaton Institute to compile some photos, stories, etc. It would be beneficial to the club to host the district conference during the same time as the anniversary. We are hoping to have our first meeting in early January.

Comfort Room at Sydney Academy will receive a $1500 donation from our club.
Salvation Army Kettle- Last day is December 20. Laurianne offered to fill a spot from 4-6.
