Update on the Holiday Inn
- Shawn spoke to three people who work there and thanked them for their service over the years. They advised that if we ever wish to go back, they would be glad to take us. He advised he will update them in mid February as to whether or not we will be returning for a lunchtime meetings.
Fab February
- The draw takes place at our meeting next week. Accordingly, we need tickets and money back as soon as possible. Please start collecting from your groups, the sooner the better so that they are not chasing anyone. The plan is to count the money and the tickets next Monday at Boston Pizza. If you have tickets and money, please either drop them off to Dave Mitten's attention at RBC or email him and he will come and pick them up from you.
RHS Breakfast Club
- Kevin T will volunteer this Friday
- We need one more volunteer for this Friday. Please contact Todd Higgins if you can volunteer.

100th Anniversary Gala
- there will be a committee meeting this Thursday and John will have a report to the club at next week's meeting

Update on the mattress project
- the deadline for applications to receive a free mattress is January 17, 2020. Gina handed out the poster that is going around at CBU as well as the application and consent forms. Each of the local clubs is contributing $2,000.00 towards the project. Applications are not just for international students but for all first year students who are in need. The focus of this project is on our Rotaract Club. Delivery day for the mattresses is currently scheduled for February 1, 2020 and we will need Rotarians to help deliver mattresses on that day. It was noted that February 1, 2020 is also the day of Curling for a Cause so Gina is going to see whether that date is firm and will get back to us.

Curling for a Cause
- it is scheduled for February 1, 2020. The event is pretty well ready but we still need to fill up teams and get teams registered. If you know of any businesses that might be interested, please let them know about this event. The beneficiary for this year's event is Big Brothers Big Sisters. The event will take 16 teams, and 8 teams have already confirmed. Last year there were 11 teams.

Ribfest
- there is a meeting scheduled for next Monday, January 13, 2020 at 5:30 PM at Boston Pizza. This year's co-chairs are Gord and Sarah Burke. This is the third and final year for the Hospital Foundation as the charity of choice of Ribfest. There will need to be a meeting of past chairs to discuss what organization to support for the next three years.

Lunch
-Gord is hopeful that meals for our Tuesday lunches will be offered ahead of time on Club Runner at some point. Stay tuned. This will allow people to order ahead of time. If you have anything you want to see with the meals, please speak to Gord. Please know that you can also enter through the side door for our meetings.
