PRESENTATION / SPEAKER

Presenter(s):  Steven Gillisbie
Topic: Cantley Village Park

To open Steven told us he was a former Kiwinis Club member and that he son is a member of the Interact Club at Riverview.

He discussed that the park has a walking track, soccer field, baseball diamond, basketball court and a playground.  The problem with the state that the park is currently in is some outdated/damaged equipment and the accessibility is not what it should be.

They have received $215,000 through government grants, as well as some donations from businesses and individuals.  They are short $10,000 to complete this portion of the renovation.  He called upon our club to help.
