2. Riverview Interact
-Bob reported. They plan to do a fund-raiser international project: Purple Pinky Day for Polio to raise money, build awareness about what is polio and Rotary’s work in the eradication. The Interact Club was also invited by the Salvation Army to a thank-you reception for their community work.

-Dave Mitten reported that the seller commission cheques have been written and the winner paid. Profit is near $14,000.00!
4. Mattress Project
-Gina report that Chigozie Okolie was interviewed on CBC Information Morning this morning. It is expected that he will also be interviewed by a national reported (Canadian Press).
A letter of thanks was received from Corey Vincent of the Salvation Army for the Mattress Project donation.
Mattresses will be delivered from the Salvation Army location on this Friday at 10AM. If they are not all delivered at that time, they will be delivered on Saturday at 1PM. With or without a truck, volunteers are needed.

6. Curling for a Cause
-Dave Mitten: The event will be this weekend, Jan. 31 & Feb. 1. If you aren’t on a team and wish to volunteer for part of the day, you can respond to an email that will be sent out through Club Runner. Friday evening will be a learning session and trivia night, and on Saturday the event will run from 9AM to 6PM.

-Past Chairs need to get together to discuss what organization will be the benefactor this year and volunteer commitment. Gord is hopeful it will happen soon.
