They raised ~$326,000.00, and their goal had been ~$250,000.00. They also received a $25,000.00 donation from the Sydney call centre as Salvation Army had helped them out last year.
Ribfest Meeting
- Gord: there was no Ribfest Meeting yesterday due to the weather.

- Rotary Peace Centre - now accepting applications for the 2021 Rotary Peace Fellowship. Shawn will forward the email to our members regarding the application information.
- Our Meeting Venue - Shawn had told the Holiday Inn that we would be at our new venue for January and February and then he would give them an update on whether our move is permanent. So far, he has received only positive feedback on our new venue. If you want to talk to Shawn about whether we stay at Boston Pizza or go back to Holiday Inn, please do so by next week. Otherwise, next week Shawn will let the Holiday Inn know that our move to Boston Pizza is permanent. It should be noted that when Shawn was contacting the Holiday Inn to let them know of our temporary move, he left voicemails for two different people who never returned his call.
